Day 22, Benaulim, Goa [Tuesday 25th December 2007 - Christmas Day]

Mrs D'Souza makes us a special Christmas breakfast. Tea for Kate, coffee for me, and a plate each full of Goan biscuits and Christmas cake which smells of rum.
We spend the day on the beach, and for Christmas dinner we have tandoori whole red snapper at a beach shack, with a couple of beers to wash it down. Delicious.
Later we phone home to wish everyone happy Christmas, then wander around Benaulim looking at the various nativity scenes outside people's houses. The one nearest to Mrs D'Souza's has used lightbulbs to light it up, plus some special glow in the dark paint.
We have a couple more beers on the beach for dinner, and watch the waves and the stars.
