We take the excellent audio tour around the imposing and impressive Mehrangarh Fort. Its walls are huge and solid, but the palace which tops it is refined, elegant and quite beautiful.
That evening we go shopping in the crowded bazaar and alleys of the old town. I get a pair of pointy camel leather shoes, and Kate gets some embroidered slippers (altogether Rs. 850).
My appetite is slowly coming back, and get some basic food in the rooftop restaurant at Yogi's, but Kate goes without.
